Brazil During World Cup_009.jpg
Brazil's national flag hangs from a line on a street in the Roca da Sabina community of Salvador, Brazil, Monday, June 30, 2014. This is a community of extreme poverty, where makeshift apartments are built and stacked upon each other along small pathways which wind through a network of these apartments. Many in this community, of which the local church owns the land, are working poor, with jobs such as mechanics, nannies, and also in the hospitality industry.
