Naomi Burkhalter,49, talks with social workers from Unity of Greater New Orleans about her mental health and living conditions. Naomi is living in an abandoned house with no electricity or running water. Unity of Greater New Orleans goes around during the day time to find where people are camping out, then return in the deep dark hours of night to look for people who are in need of medical items or food and life's necessities. The social workers of Unity fill the needs of some of the city's most vulnerable citizens, where the government has become inept. New Orleans, La. June 11, 2009.
