  • Ana Gomez, of El Salvador, comforts her six month-old daughter Ana Lucia, at the home of Mrs. Gomez's sister-in-law in Mt. Rainer, MD, Saturday, May 6, 2017. Ana came to the U.S. from El Salvador alone when she was 14 years old, and now she rings up a lot of lawmakers and officials who don't believe she should be here (Jeff Sessions came down her line a couple weeks ago). She received DACA status under President Obama after working for years undocumented, inside the Senate, in a constant state of fear. Now with the new Trump Administration, she has the same worries as other immigrants of being deported at a moments notice. Ana and her husband Jose Franklin Reyes, who is also living under Temporary Protective Status, live in Hyattsville, Md., with their three daughters. Photographed for Huffington Post.
